페이스 북에서 채팅을 할 때, 의외로 친구 신청이 많았었다.

There were often Friend Request in Facebook chatting.

거의 250명

My friends were 250 in Facebook.

그 정도의 외국인들이 친구 신청을 하였다.

거의 매일 채팅을 하는 친구들도 있었고, 일주일에 하번씩 하는 채팅도 있었다.

There was the friend to chat in everyday or the friend to chat one time by a week.

그 중에서도 유난히 잘생긴 외모 때문에 한 눈에 주목을 받게 되는 친구가 있었다.

Because of very handsome face, there was a friend remarkable at first sight exceptionally!

'남자일까?

"Is he?

여자일까?

Is she?

무척 잘 생겼는데...

So handsome...

외국인이 이런 외모면 귀족이나 귀공자형 아닌가?

Maybe, when this look has as foreigner, a nobility or a young nobleman is called...

일본인일까?

Is the Japanese?

일본인 아이디 같은데...'

Japanese ID seems...'

나는 사뭇 궁금해졌다.

I want to know him or her.

프로파일 난을 보면 남자로 되어있지만 페이스북에는 가끔씩 주소나 성별 이름 정도는 사실과 다르게 쓰여져있는 경우가 종종 있었다.

When I saw profile contents, the Facebook friend was a male but there were from time to time the cases to be written in false of Address, Gender or Name in Facebook.

그래서 직접 물어보지 않으면, 알 수가 없었다.

So I could not know the fact exactly, when not to ask directly.

이름은 에리카 였는데, 이름만 들으면, 물론 여자 이름 같다.

The name was Erika, seeing the name just only, of course, its name seemed a female's name.

아마 프러파일에 있는 그림을 보면 누구나가 약간의 연애 감정이 생길 것이다.

'Maybe, when to see profile photo just only, everyone seems to be falling in love with the friend.'

"Hi, Erika!

I am Ji Hyun!

How are you?

I am full.

I am resting with chatting in Facebook."

Erika는 바로 답장이 왔다.

Erika answered to me soonly.

"Hi, Ji Hyun!

How are you?

I am good!

& you?"

"I am good too!

You are very handsome!

Are you a male?"

"Oh! No!

It's my sketch just!

I am a female."

"Oh! Really?"

"Yes!"

나는 한편으로 참 기뻤다.

By the way, I delighted so much because the friend was a female.

'Erika가 여자였구나!'

'Ah! Erika was a female!'

그 후로 에리카는 나와 같이 채팅을 매일 했고, 우리는 베스트 프렌드가 되었다.

After that asking, I have chatted with Erika in everyday from 2011 to 2019, so we have become Best Friend!

나는 에리카를 실제로 만나고 싶었다.

I wanted to meet Erika really.

"When will we meet at In Cheon airport?"

"Really?"

"Yes!"

"I want to meet you so much!"

"Oh! I will go there at latest week!"

"Because I will get holiday for a week!"

"Really?"

"Yes!"

나는 에리카와 다음 주에 공항에서 만날 약속을 했다.

I promised to meet Erika in the next weekend in In Cheon Airport.

약 일주일 동안 Erika는 휴가를 얻는다고 했다.

She said that she would get the holiday for a week.

Erika는 예술가들의 유튜브라고 말할 수 있는 디비언트아트에서 만화 캐릭터 그림 활동을 하고 있는 아티스트다.

Erika is an Artist to act in DeviantArt to be called 'Artists' Youtube', she is painting Cartoon Character.

예를 들자면, 우리나라의 뽀로로나 일본의 키티처럼 만화 캐릭터를 만들어내고, 그것이 채택이 되면, 상품화가 되고, 만화 영화의 주인공이 될 수 있고, 인형이나 열쇠고리 티셔츠 가방 기타 부가적인 경제 가치를 창출해내는 것이다.

For example, like Ppororo of Korean or Hello Kitti of Japan, when it to be chosen & to create Cartoon Character, as the Commercialization Works will be Movie's Hero, Dolls, Key Chains, T-Shirts or Bags etc., resultly Added Economic Values will be made.

채택이 되면 이 모든 행운을 누릴 수 있는 만화 캐릭터를 창출해내는 일종의 아티스트였다.

When it will be chosen as Cartoon Character, Erika is The Character Artist to enjoy these all lucks with creating.

에리카는 그림 그리는 재능이 다른 사람에 비해서 탁월했던 것 같다.

Erika seemed to be excellent relatively others in Painting Talent.

'다음 주 일요일 12시까지 Erika를 만나러 인천 공항에 마중을 나가야지.'

'I will welcome Erika at In Cheon Airport by noon in the next sunday!'

Erika는 이미 나의 베스트 프렌드였기 때문에, 실제로 Erika의 잘생긴 얼굴을 보게 될 수 있다는 사실에 굉장히 마음이 두근거렸다.

Erika had been my best friend already, really I was fluttering so much because I would be able to see her handsome look.

한 달 정도 우리는 같이 한국에서 지냈으면 좋겠지만, Erika는 휴가를 일주일 정도 받았기 때문에, 그정도만 한국에 머무를 수 있었다.

For a month, if we will stay together, it will be very good but Erika got a week holiday in Korea, we could not help staying the one week just in Korea.

나는 직업이 펀드 매니저라 외국계 사모 펀드를 매니징하는 역할을 했었기 때문에, 주로 나의 셀폰으로 이-메일을 보내곤 했다.

My job was Fund Manager, I was used to send E-Mail into my cell phone because I did the role managing Foreign Private Fund.

장소의 구애를 받는 직업은 아니었다.

But I had never the job limited to special places.

한마디로 나는 시간과 돈이 있었다.

Namely, I had Time & Money.

하지만, 조직 생활을 한 적이 없어서, 사회 친구는 별로 없었기 때문에, 나는 주로 페이스 북을 통해서 친구를 사귀는 편이었다.

But, i had not done organization life, I had social friends hardly, I had been used to make friends through Facebook.

외국인 친구들은 내 외모가 귀엽고 내 성격이 친절하다면서, 비교적 친구 신청을 많이 했었다.

Froeign friends did many Friend Request at Facebook relatively because my look was cute & my character was kind.

그렇게, 나의 외로움은 페이스북 채팅을 통해서, 서서히 완화되고 있었다.

So my loneliness was getting decreasing through Facebook Chatting.

혼자서 일하는 재택 근무라는 특이한 점 때문에, 나는 사실 내 일에 대한 외로움이 상당히 있었기 때문이다.

Because of Telecommuting, I had felt loneliness always.

그리고, 결혼도 안해서, 미혼이었기 때문에, 나이 43의 미혼 남성이 얼마나 이성을 그리워하겠는가?

More over I was 43 years old, because I was not married, how much did I miss the opposite sex?

더군다나 Erika는 여성인데...

So handsome Erika was a female...

상당히 톰보이적인 여성이었다.

She was tomboy enough.

언제부터인가 중성적인 매력이 일종의 유행처럼 번지고 있는데, Erika는 톰보이적인 매력을 충분히 가지고 있었다.

Since when, Tomboy was spreading like a kind of trend.

Erika had Tomboy's Appealing enough than anyone.

Erika의 나이는 나보다 훨씬 적었다.

But, she was younger so much than my age.

나는 43세인데...

I was 43...

Erika는 불과 30세 밖에 되지 않았다.

Erika was 30 years old just only.

'나랑 나이 차이도 많은데...

'She is a lot of age difference with me...'

다른 외국인 친구들도 Erika를 무척 좋아하겠지?'

'Other foreign friends seem to like Erika so much!'

그녀는 무척이나 잘 생겼으니까

'Because she is very handsome!'

그리고 대인 관계도 적극적이고 활발했다.

More over, her character was affirmative & active too!

벌써 일주일이 지났다.

Already, it was flowing a week soonly.

나는 그 일주일 동안 Erika에게 좀 더 매력있어 보일려고 내가 좋아하는 스타일로 정장을 한 벌 샀다.

To appeal to Erika, I bought one suit into my liking style.

내가 좋아하는 보타이를 매고, 미용실에서 드라이를 한 다음에, 오늘 인천 공항가서 외국인 친구 만날거라고 잘 좀 드라이 해달라고 팁까지 줘가면서 특별히 신경을 썼다.

After making my hair dry at beauty shop, I wore on my liking new suit & hung my liking style's bow tie, I started into In Cheon Airport.

In fact, I gave a little tip for the staff of the beauty shop to ask making my hair dry well because I would meet my foreign friend today.

운전을 못하는 나였기 때문에, 나는 콜택시를 불러서, 청주에서 인천 공항까지 바로 갔었다.

Because I was bad at driving, I called Call Taxi, Went directly from Chong Ju city to In Cheon Airport.

"저기 기사아저씨 제가 듬뿍 돈을 드릴테니까 오늘 하루만 제가 좀 쓰면 안 될까요?"

"Well...Taxi Uncle! Will I use this taxi today because I will pay enough taxi fee?"

"제가 운전 면허증이 없어서 그런데요.

"Because I am bad at to drive a car!"

여기저기 많이 돌아다닐데가 많아요."

"I must move much today with my foreign friend from In Cheon Airport!"

아저씨는 흔쾌히 그러겠다고 했다.

The taxi uncle said, "Ok!".

나는 아저씨께 일당으로 30만원을 주었다.

First of all, I paid ￦300,000 to Taxi Uncle.

"부족하면 제가 좀 더 챙겨드릴께요.

"I will pay more later! Uncle!"

아저씨."

아저씨는 그러겠다고 했다.

"Ok!"

나는 일단 인천 공항에서 Erika를 만나야한다.

'I have to meet Erika at In Cheon Airport.'

그리고, Erika와 같이 점심을 먹어야한다.

'And I have to be going to eat lunches with Erika.'

그 다음 내가 살고 있는 청주에 한 오피스텔로 와서 그녀와 같이 충분히 쉴 수 있어야 한다.

'Next, I can rest enough with Erika since we will come back home my officetel in Cheong Ju city!'

그녀는 매우 피곤할테니까.

'Because Erika will be tired so much!'

나는 기사아저씨한테 근처 주차장에서 대기하고 있으라고 부탁을 드렸다.

I asked the uncle would wait the park near by In Cheon Airport with the taxi.

그리고, 인천공항 그날은 일요일이었다.

It was sunday.

점심 먹기 좋은 12시쯤 그녀는 인천공항에 도착한다고 하였다.

'About noon in suitable time to eat lunch, she will reached at In Cheon Airport.'

저기 바로 Erika의 모습이 아닌가?

'Oh! That! Isn't Erika? Unbelievable!'

'Oh! My Best Friend! Erika!'

그녀는 실제로 보니 더욱 더 잘 생겼었다.

'How handsome!'

When I saw her really, she was handsome more than my thinking figure.

"반가워!

"I am glad to meet you, Ji Hyun!"

My Best Friend, Ji Hyun!"

하며 악수를 신청했다.

She applied for a handshake to me.

그런데, 그녀는 휠체어를 타고 있었다.

But, she used wheelchair.

"Oh! 저런, 손이 움직여지질 않네!"

"Oh! Upset! Don't move your hand..."

나는 얼떨결에 약간 당황을 했었지만...

I upsetted a little her wheelchair...

Erika의 아름다운 모습에 한 눈에 반하고 말았다.

But I was falling in love because of her beautiful figure at first sight.

"반가와 Erika!"

"Glad to meet you, my best friend, Erika!"

"너를 실제로 보게 되니 너무나 행복해."

"I am very happy so much to see you really!"

"자! 나를 좀 도와줘 나의 베스트 프렌드 지현"

"Well... Let me help! My best friend, Ji Hyun!"

나는 뒤에서 그녀의 휠체어를 밀고 갔다.

I helped she used wheelchair.

다행히도 기사 아저씨를 데리고 왔기에 한결 마음이 놓였다.

I was easy to come here with the taxi uncle.

나 혼자 차도 없이 왔더라면, Erika가 얼마나 힘들었겠는가?

Without a car, when I came here alone, how was Erika hard?

기사 아저씨는 무우만한 팔뚝으로 그녀를 안아서 택시에 태웠고, 나는 Erika의 휠체어를 접어서 택시 트렁크에 넣었다.

The taxi uncle hugged Erika & made Erika sit down carefully at taxi rear seat into his strong arms, I put in after folding her wheelchair in the taxi trunk.

There were often so case to the taxi uncle.

그녀의 짐도 말이다.

Also her load!

나는 뒷 좌석에 Erika와 같이 차를 탔고, 그리고 택시 기사 아저씨는 흥겹게 휘파람을 불면서 어디로 갈거냐고 내게 물었다.

The taxi uncle asked with whistling, "Where will you go?".

"제가 인천 공항 근처에 있는 인터넷 맛집을 알아둔데가 있어요.

"I have known internet delicious restaurant near by In Cheon Airport!"

우선, 그리로 가죠.

"First of all, let's go there!"

그러면서 나는 셀폰에 저장되어있는 인터넷 지도를 보여주었다.

I showed to the uncle the internet image & the address to have stocked at my cell phone.

택시 기사 답게 그 셀폰에 보여지는 주소로 네비게이션에 입력을 했다.

He inputted the address to his navigator familiarly.

그리고 네비게이션의 지시를 따라서 식당 앞으로 갔다.

And he went in front of the restaurant by the indication of the navigator.

아무래도 외국인들은 갈비를 먹기가 가장 무난할 것 같아서, 나는 예전에 인천 공항 근처에 위치한 인터넷 맛집으로서 갈비집을 찾아보았다.

'Anyway, Kalbi will be the most delicious food to be eaten by foreigners, I have found Kalbi restaurant near by the airport before a week as soon as we promised to meet at In Cheon Airport.'

그래서 나는 Erika와 같이 갈비를 먹었다.

So I ate Kalbi with my best friend, Erika & the uncle together.

물론 기사 아저씨와도 같이 말이다.

인천공항 근처라 외국인들이 자주 찾는 것이었기 때문에, 의외로 갈비집은 테이블과 의자가 놓여있었다.

Fortunately, there were many tables & chairs because foreigners were used to eat often near by the airport.

그래서, 나는 의자를 하나 옆으로 치우고 에리카의 휠체어를 밀어넣고 갈비를 일단 5인분 시켰다.

So I pushed a chair by a chair & there received enough space to enter her wheelchair.

And I pushed Erika's wheelchair carefully closely the table.

We ordered 5 persons Kalbi forst of all.

"에리카 많이 먹어.

"Please, eat much easily, Erika!"

한국의 갈비는 맛있다고 특히 유명하지."

"What Korean Kalbi is so delicious is famous specially!"

에리카는 실제로 나를 보게 되었다면서, 내 모습이 귀엽게 느껴졌다며, 무척이나 반가워하였다.

Erika was glad to see me so much because she felt my figure was cute when she saw me really.

Erika는 활발하고 순수한 성격이었다.

Erika was active & pure.

나는 Erika에게 직접 갈비를 먹여주기도 하면서, 나의 베스트 프렌가 한국을 휴가지로 선택해주어서 너무 고맙다고 말했다.

As I gave Erika Kalbi directly, I said, "My lovely Erika, thank you so much for choosing Korea!".

Erika가 외국인이라 매운 맛이 느껴지는 비빔냉면은 피하고 물냉면을 먹고 나중에 나오는 수정과와 과일 디저트까지 다 먹고난 후 우리는 나의 오피스텔이 있는 청주로 향했다.

We avoided Spicy Naeng Myun because Erika was a foreigner.

Instead of, we ate Mul Naeng Myun, Su Jeong Kwa & Fruit Dessert.

We went to Cheong Ju city located on my officetel.
