청주 롯데 시네마를 갔을때 얘기다.

I went to watch a movie in a weekend at CheongJu Lotte Cinema!

나는 영화매니아인지라 주말에 청주 롯데시네마를 갔었다.

Because I was a movie mania.

그런데 내 양쪽 옆 오른쪽 왼쪽 좌석이 둘 다 비어있었는데...

By the way, both my right seat & left seat were empty.

한 휠체어를 사용하는 장애인과 그의 언니로 추정되는 사람이 양쪽 옆을 앉는 것이 아닌가?

Didn't a wheelchair woman & her sister sit down in my left & right?

나는 좀 민망해서 그려면 제가 자리를 옆으로 앉을까요?

I was strange a little, "Well... Will I sit down more by?".

언니가 고맙다고 감사를 표현했다.

"Oh! Will you do so? Thanks so much!"

그렇게 나 언니 동생 이렇게 나란히 앉아서 영화를 보았다.

So we watched an action movie side by side!

그 휠체어 여성은 참 예뻤다.

The wheelchair woman was so beautiful.

언니가 내 옆에 앉아있었다.

But her sister sat down by me.

아무래도 몸이 불편한 사람이 맨 가생이에 앉아야 편한법이다.

Perhaps, wheelchair woman was used to be easier to sit down on the side.

옆에 휠체어도 놓고...

By her, there put her wheelchair too...

우리는 액션영화를 봤다.

We watched an action movie in funny.

한참 재미있게 보고 있는데, 영화 중간쯤에, 굉장히 재미있는 액션 장면이었는데, 휠체어 여성이 언니의 도움을 받아서 화장실을 가고 싶어했다.

About the middle of the movie, she wanted to go to the restroom.

At that time, the movie was so funny.

The sister helped her.

나는 남자인지라 도와줬다.

But I helped her because I was a man.

그녀를 업어서 화장실에 데려다주고 언니는 휠체어에 그녀가 쓰는 용품들을 챙겨 갔다.

I went to carry on the back her to the restroom.

Her sister went to the restroom with her using goods.

그녀는 상당히 고마워했다.

She was very thankful.

영화 상영 중에 쓰는 화장실인지라 여성용 화장실이라도 사람이 거의 없어서 남성인 내가 여성 화장실 안까지 앉혀주었다.

There was not even a people because of screening movie.

그리고, 언니가 필요한 용품을 챙겨주었다.

And, her sister packed her using goods.

나는 다시 화장실에서 업고 나와서 영화관의 그녀의 좌석에 앉혀주었다.

I got out to carry on the back her again from the restroom.

우리는 영화를 다 보고 핫도그를 같이 먹지 않겠느냐고 물었다.

After watching the movie, I asked, "Will you eat hotdogs in 3F together?".

언니가 차마 거절을 못하는 표정이었다.

Her sister could not refuse my asking.

아마도 나의 친절 때문이리라!

'Maybe, because of my kindness!'

우리는 청주 롯데 시네마 3층에서 핫도그, 콜라, 도도한 나쵸를 같이 먹었다.

We ate Hotdogs, Cola, Upstage Nacho in 3F together.

그 옆 매장에 있는 버터오징어구이도 사서 먹었다.

And we ate Fried Butter Squid by the store together too.

제법 고소하고 맛있었다.

'How tasty!'

그리고 나는 나의 오피스텔로 왔다.

And I returned to my officetel.

나는 이 사실을 까맣게 잊고 있었는데...

I forgot this rememberance really...

나의 직업이 펀드매니저인지라 가끔씩 미국으로 출장을 간다.

I had gone to USA from time to time because I was Fund Manager.

사모펀드를 운영하고 있었기 때문에 멤버들간의 모임이다.

It was members' meeting because of Private Fund.

청주국제공항에서 오사카 공항을 갔다가 거기서 미국으로 가는 경우도 종종 있었다.

I had gone From CheongJu Airport to Osaka Airport, & USA!

인천공항까지 가는 시간이면 오사카 공항까지 갈 수 있었기 때문이다.

When Here I could go InCheon Airport, because I caould go by Osaka Airport.

때론 오사카에서 출발하는게 인천공항보다 시간이 더 편했다.

In my schedule, it was more easy Osaka Airport than InCheon Airport to me.

특별한 예약안해도 바로 갈 수 있었기 때문에...

Because I could go soonly without special reservation...

그렇게 미국에서 사모펀드 매니저들끼리 모임을 하고 오사카 공항에서 청주 공항으로 돌아오는 길이었다.

So I was returning into my officetel after the meeting in USA.

그런데, 거기서 휠체어를 사용하는 아름다운 여성을 또 만나지 않았던가?

'But, I met her to use a wheelchair again!'

그녀는 역시 언니와 같이 앉아있었는데...

She sat down with her sister together, also.

나는 무척 반갑게 인사를 했다.

I greeted her gladly so much!

지난번에 영화관에서 만났던 분 아니예요

"In last weekend, didn't we meet in Lotte Cinema?"

그들도 나에게 반갑게 인사를 했다.

They were glad to meet me too!

"여기에서 또 만나다니...

이것도 인연이군요.

반갑습니다.

펀드 매니저 김지현입니다."

"Here meeting again!

This is also a bond!

I am glad to meet beautiful you.

Fund Manager, I am Kim JiHyun!"

"네 정말 반가워요.

김지현씨!

언니가 하바드 로스쿨 과정을 밟고 있어요.

방학이라 동생보고 싶어서 왔다가 가는 길이예요

저는 배웅 나온거죠."

"Me too!

Mr. Kim!

My sister is going the course of Havard Law School.

She has come to want to see me because of summer vacation!

I see off for my sister."

얼떨결에 그 아름다운 휠체어 여성과 얘기를 하게 되었다.

Suddenly, I talked the beautiful woman.

그때는 저녁 5시였는데...

At that time, it was 17:00 at p.m..

"출발할 때까지 시간적 여유가 있으면 같이 공항에서 비빔밥을 먹지 않겠어요.

아름다운 숙녀분!"

"Will you eat BiBimBap at airport when you have an enough time? Beautiful women?"

"7시 출발이라 2시간 여유가 있는데, 저녁을 일찍 먹는 것도 좋겠어요."

"Ok! I have two hours because my start is 19:00! I am good to eat dinner early here!"

공항의 한식집에서 같이 전주비빔밥을 먹었다.

We ate JeonJuBiBimBap Korean Restaurant at the airport together.

언니는, "오랜만에 한식을 먹어서 맛있었어요"

Her sister said, "After a long time, I ate Koream food deliciouly!"

동생이, "여기서 우연히 만나 식사를 같이 하다니...

참 인연이 깊네요."

She said, "Here we ate to meet by chance...

So have a deep bond!"

"어디 다녀오세요?"

"Where have you gone?"

"네 미국에 사모펀드 매니저들과 모임이 있었어요."

"In USA, we met with Private Funa Managers!"

"오사카 공항에서 청주 공항으로 돌아오는 길이죠."

"From Osaka Airport to CheongJu Airport, I am returning!"

동생은, "그러세요."

She said, "So!"

동생은 상당히 내게 호감을 보였다.

She seemed to feel favor a little to me.

공항 커피숍에서 얘기를 하다가 7시쯤 되어서 언니는 미국으로 출국을 했다.

About 19:00, her sister started to USA after talking at the airport.

나는 몸이 불편한 아름다운 여성에게,

"다행히도 제가 택시를 이용하지 않아서 공항 주차장에서 제차로 댁까지 모셔다 드릴께요.

괜찮으시죠?"

I said to the wheelchair woman, "Fortunately, I didn't use a taxi, so my car is at airport park. Will I pick you at home by my car?"

그녀는, "정말 고마워요. 마침 택시 잡기도 청주 공항이 시골이라 힘든데..."

"Oh! Really? Thank you so much! Mr. Kim!"

"Here is rural, I have used taxi hard!"

그녀를 청주 가경동의 이층 주택에까지 차를 운전했다.

I picked up her tow-story house at hone, Gakyung-dong, CheongJu city.

가경동은 청주에서 제일 번창한 동네다.

KaKyung dong was the most properous town in CheongJu city.

그녀의 집은 한눈에 보아도 너무 컸다.

Her Two-Story House was so large at once sight.

그녀의 집에서 트렁크의 휠체어를 펴놓고 그녀를 안아서 조심스럽게 휠체어에 앉혀 주었다.

I unfolded her wheelchair, made her sit down at her wheelchair carefully at her home.

그리고 그녀 집의 초인종을 눌러서 누군가 나올 때까지 기다렸다.

I pushed the bell of her hallway, waited soneone to get out to help her.

나는 그녀의 이름을 물어보았는데, 에리카라고 했다.

I asked her name, she answered 'Erika'!

이름상 그녀는 재미교포인가보다.

In name, she seemed to be a Korean in America.

그녀의 언니도 미국에서 하버드 로스쿨을 다닌다고 하니까...

'Because her sister goes to study Harvard Law School too...'

에리카를 집에까지 배웅해주고 나의 사무실로 돌아왔다.

I picked up Erika at home by car, I returned to my officetel.

그리고 나는 혼자 재택근무를 하는지라 심심해서 페이스북 활동을 자주 하는데...

Because I worked at home alone, I solved my loneliness through Facebook Acting doften.

거기서 늘 채팅을 하고 새로운 친구를 사귀곤 하는데...

I had chatted or made a friend always there...

휠체어를 탄 그 아름다운 여성이 내게 친구신청을 했다.

'By the way, doesn't the beautiful woman to use a wheelchair, Friend Request on me?'

내 이름밖에 모를텐데...

'Oh! Unbelievable!

How could so beautiful Erika ask to make a friend to me?

How have Erika known my wall, earthly?'

어떻게 검색을 했지?

혹시 펀드 매니저로 나를 검색해봤었나.

'Perhaps, did she search me as Fund Manager in Facebook?'

물론 페이스 북에 김지현회계법률번역이라는 내 페이지가 있긴해!

'Of course, there is my page, Kim JiHyun Accounting & Law Translation For Specialists, in Facebook!'

나는 펀드 매니저라고 소개를 페이스북에 했었어.

I introduced myself, Fund Manager in Facebook.

내 얼굴도 아니까...

She knew my face too...

검색이 가능할꺼야.

Perhaps, she could search me in Facebook.

그리고 내가 청주에 산다는 것도 일쟎아?

'More over, has she known me to live at CheongJu?'

나는 그녀의 프로파일을 보았다.

I saw her profile in FB.

그녀는 컴퓨터 프로그래머였다.

She was a computer programer.

그녀는 하버드 대학교 공대를 졸업했다.

She graduated from Engineering of Harvard University.

미국의 구글에서 컴퓨터 프로그래머로 재택 근무를 하고 있었다.

She had worked at home in Google as Computer Programer!

아무래도 휠체어를 사용하니까 재택 근무가 편할거다.

Perhaps, because she used a wheelchair, she worked easily at home.

와 자매가 다 하버드 출신이구나!

'Wonderful! Two sisters graduated from Harvard!'

그 가족들은 공부를 다 잘하네.

'The people in the family are all excellent students!'

나는 그녀의 프렌드 리퀘스트를 승낙했다.

I accepted her Friend Request.

에리카는 이제 나의 페이스북 친구가 된 것이다.

'Erika becomes my Facebook Friend now!'

안녕 에리카!

"Hi, Erika!"

어떻게 내 페이스북 계정을 일았어?

"How have you known my wall in Facebook?"

오! 이거 정말 놀라운데...

"Oh! How surprised!"

에리카는 바로 답장을 주었다.

Erika answered soonly.

이건 인연 같애 두번이나 우연히 만났으니...

'I seem acquaintance with Erika because I have met her two times...'

난 사실 첫눈에 너의 귀여운 외모에 반하고 말았어.

"I have been falling in love with your cute face at first sight, frankly speaking!"

너는 나의 이름을 통해서 내가 재미교포라는걸 알거야.

"You seem to know me a Korean in America through my name!"

나의 국적은 미국이지만 나는 한국이 좋아서 한국에서 살고있거든.

"I have lived my nation is America but I like Korea so live to Korea now."

우리 같이 친구하지 않을래?

"Do you become my boyfriend?"

그녀는 미국인답게 자신이 좋아하는 남성에 대해서 적극적이었다.

She was positive to the man felt a favor as a American.

아무리 그래도 그렇지.

'But, this is severe!'

여성이 남성에게 외모에 반했다니...

'How did she say so that a woman is falling in love with a man?'

의외다!

'surprised!'

에리카는 내가 상식밖이라고 느껴질정도로 상당히 적극적인 여성이었다.

Erika was very positive woman as I was feeling her out of common sense.

그리고 엘리트였다.

And she was an elite.

와! 하버드대를 졸업했다구

'How smart she is!

Harvard!'

그러면 그녀는 왜 휠체어를 타게 된걸까?

'Why has she used a wheelchair?'

남의 아픈 상처는 건드리는 것이 아니지만...

'Other's painful things, I shall not touch...but, I want to ask her very much only one thing!'.

나는 그녀에게 미안하게도 조심스럽게 물어보았다.

I asked her carefully!

저기 에리카

"Well...So beautiful Erika?"

나 한가지만 물어보아도 돼?

"Shall I ask to you only one thing?"

응 뭔데

"Yes! What do you want to ask to me?"

너는 언제부터 몸이 불편해진거야?

"Since when have you been sick?"

에리카는 5분 정도 말을 잇지 못했다.

Erika could not tell the reason to me about 5 minutes.

에리카는 내게 의외로 스마일 마크를 보내더니,

나는 사실 장애인이 된지 6개월도 채 되지 않았어.

Erika sent Smile Mark to me, surprised, "In fact, I have been the disabled about 6 months!".

나는 충격적이었다.

I was shocked very much!

오! 쏘리! 정말 미안해! 에리카!

I was sorry for Erika so much!

내가 너의 아픈 상처를 건드린 것 같애.

'I seemed to touch your hurts!'

에리카는 아니라고 했다.

"No! Never mind, JiHyun!"

에리카는 선천적으로 허리의 구조적인 기형이 있다고 했다.

"I have Congenital Anomaly at Structure of Spine!"

그런데 6개월 전에 허리의 심한 통증을 느껴서, 하버드 대학 병원을 가보니까 거기서 진단을 받았다고 했다.

"I have gone in Harvard General University Hospital because I have felt at my spine severe pain before 6 months, I have been diagnosed so there!"

하버드 대학 병원에서는 이것은 구조적이고 선천적인 기형이고 갈수록 허리뼈의 구조가 변형이되고 장애가 심화될 것이라고 진단을 내린 것이다.

"Harvard General University Hospital told that I will be getting disabled because I have Deformed Spine structurally and naturally!"

어쩌면 그녀는 더 장애인이 될지도 모르겠다.

'Perhaps, she may be the severe disabled more than now!'

에리카는 정직하게 자신의 기형에 대해서 내게 숨김없이 얘기해주었다.

Anyway, Erika told me about her deformed spine with honesty.

그녀는 나를 믿고 있는 것이다.

She was believing me truly.

오! 에리카! 정말 미안해!

'Oh Erika! Really sorry!'

내가 너의 상처를 건드렸어.

'I was touched your hurts!'

나는 그렇게 다시 한번 에리카한테 사과를 했다.

I apologized to Erika heartfully again.

좋은 하루 되어.

"Have a goid day, so beautiful Erika!"

오 에리카가 저런 병이 있었구나.

'Oh! Pitiful! Erika has a sickness at her spine!'

6개월 밖에 안 되었다니

'How short just 6 months she has been!'

그동안 얼마나 답답했을까?

'How tight she was for that time!'

얼마나 무서울까?

'How fear!'

갈수록 장애가 더 심해진다니

'Her disability will be more severe...'

그래도 요즘 의학이 발달되서 치료가능할거야.

'But, nowadays, because of developed medicine, her spine disease can be cured surely!'

돈을 아끼지 않고 치료를 하면 분명히 더 나아질 수 있을거야.

'When she will be cured in my money without sparing, she will get better than now surely!'

블과 6개월 밖에 되지 않았다니...

'Just 6 months!'

오 저런 불쌍해서 어떡해야 내 마음이 편해질까?

'Oh! Pitiful Erika! What shall I do for her?'

내가 너무 에리카의 아픈 상처를 건드렸어...

'I was touched her hurts...'

그녀는 참 아름다웠는데...

'She is so beautiful...'

만약 컴퓨터 프로그래머인 그녀가 척추 기형이 더 심해져서 팔까지 장애가 오면 어떻게 살지?

'How can she live even her arms to be disabled in future?

그러면 그녀는 더욱 외로워지겠지?

'If so, she will be alone more!'

정말 나는 에리카에게 미안했다.

Really, I was sorry Erika!

그녀는 너무 아름다웠기 때문이다.

She was beautiful so much.

그녀는 정말 나의 외모에 반한걸까?

'Really are you falling in love because of my cute face? Unbelievable!'

내가 잘생긴 얼굴은 아니었지만...

I was not handsome...

귀여운 외모라는건 사실인 것 같다.

It seemed for me to have cute look.

난 항상 중요한 일이 있을때 보타이를 매고 검은색 정장을 즐겨 입었다.

I had worn on black suit & bow tie in every important event.

검은색이 정중한 색이라 나의 귀여운 외모가 강조되었는지도 모르지.

Perhaps, black colour might be emphasized my cute look rather than.

그녀는 나의 귀여운 외모에 반했다고 하지 않았던가.

'How has she been falling in love with me at first sight because of my cute look?'

'I was unbelievable the reason!'

내게 페이스북 프렌드 리퀘스트 신청을 하고...

Anyway, she did friend request to me!
